Boatload on the bench
Its been a while since I've posted anything. I haven't finished anything over the past 6 months, but I've got a c**p ton (it's a technical term) in progress. I'm cranking hard on them to try and get them done before we move from Miami to Virginia in Feb. Without further ado...
Tamiya 1/35 Challenger II-I'm working on bronco tracks since I broke the rubber band tracks. I really like how this has turned out so far.
Trumpeter 1/35 AS90-I showed this last year before paint. Just need to tie everything together and this one will be done. It doesn't show in the pics, but for some reason the hull and turret weather turned out different shades. I'm trying to even them out but i don't want to go too far and muck everything up.
Fujimi 1/48 ME-110-This has the gloss coat on and i'm waiting for an uninterrupted evening to decal. I was actually able to subtly do the pre-shading for the first time. YAY
Airfix 1/72 Blenheim MkI-This is in prep for a small diorama showing it with a collapsed main gear leg and an engine on fire. I've got the base roughed out and just waiting on my static grass applicator. The biggest thing is I'm having a heck of a time finding 1/72 RAF firefighter figures. Any leads would be most appreciated.
Academy 1/72 A-37-Hobby Town special. Just something quick and easy.
Hasegawa 1/72 F-16-This is for a vignette to show it at the boneyard in Davis Monthan. As with the Blenheim I've got the base roughed out. Need to glue the sand down.
Hobbyboss 1/350 HMS Astute-The Hobbyboss Alfa got me hooked on these small subs. I'm not real happy with the weathering as it stands so I need to readjust.
I'm hoping to have some of these wrapped up for my end of year review. Thanks for looking and any comments or recommendations or things I missed are always welcome.
