1/48 scale Bristol kit by Eduard

I love more and more, especially their WW1 aircraft. Great detail, great instructions and plenty of options. This Bristol is a challenging build, especially when it comes to rigging. If you haven't done rigging before, this probably isn't the kit for you.

This is part of a 3 build series I am doing for a customer, which includes the Sopwith Camel and Fokker Dr1.

  1. A wonderful result, Rick @rickschadi
Never build a WWI from Eduard myself, but by looking at yours I should definitely give it a try.
Your customer will be very happy with the looks of this Bristol.

  2. Thanks! They are fun except rigging is never fun lol.

  3. Absolutely wonderful result, Rick! Everything on it is excellent!

  4. Wonderful - that prop wood grain looks fantastic. You weren't kiddin' about that riggin'...

  5. A great rendition of the Bristol fighter Rick, have to agree with you regards Eduard WW1 aircraft kits, wish they did them in 1/32 (make the rigging easier.)

  6. Nicely done, Rick! I agree with Greg. That prop looks really good.

  7. Excellent construction, beautiful result. The models from Eduard are good for me, and this type is waiting for me.
