1/72 Airfix Pe-2
Nothing special, just an old build of Airfix's 1/72 Pe-2. Brush painted, kit decals, a little scratchbuilding in the cockpiit and turret.

Your brush paint skills are outstanding, no signs of brush streaks at all. what is your secret to achieve that.
As I recall, I used Model Master paints and took my time.

This was one of my favourite builds when I was young and that, and the good looks of the aircraft, is why I have the zvezda 1/48 kit in the stash.
I’m building up the courage to tackle it and do it justice.

Very nice build and finish. The old Airfix kits were an important step along the way in our hobby. And as TC in LA says regularly, your build is a triumph of skill and perseverance over plastic. At least I think that is the gist of his sentiment.
Lovely! The Pe-2 is one of my favorite twins - I built that same Airfix kit a while back. With a little bit of elbow grease it cleans up nicely, as you have demonstrated!
