Dragon 1/48 Ju 88A-4
Junkers Ju 88 from KG51 took part in the bombing of Russia. At some stage, night bombing missions were initiated. The model depicts an aircraft that had temporary black paint over the RLM 65 light blue and national insignias.
the Jumo 211 engine exposed was made from an Aires kit with scratch parts to complement the resin details.
Great looking build! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Rod.
An interesting paint scheme and lots of good work on that opened-up engine.
Thank you Tom.
Outstanding work on this old kit, Rafi. Your detailed engine really sets this build apart, but there are so many other nice touches to admire, like the 'new' housing for the Lofte bombsight, and the subtle painting and weathering that mark this bird as a long-surviving veteran. Congratulations!
Thank you Christopher!
A real beauty, Rafi @blackmopane
The black over RLM65 is a very interesting scheme, I was not aware this was done.
It looks definitely like it has been applied in the field, nice work on that.
Thank you John.
Great build on that 88. I like your black field applied camo.
Thank you Chas.
I love the black-out work you did on the fuselage and undersides - a great realistic feel.
Thank you Greg.
Excellent job on this challenging kit, Rafi! Superb painting and weathering and fantastic work on the exposed engine!
Thank you Spiros!
Great looking Dragon kit. The added engine detail brings it up a notch as well. - Cheers
Thank you kindly.
Congratulations! Awesome build! I am in the process of completing the painting on my 1/48 Dragon Ju88A-4 this week! This is great motivation to push me to finish.
Thank you Dan.
I look forward to see the results here.
