Meng 1/35 Doobie D9R
A great kit by Meng. Although complex, the fit of parts is excellent and the detailing is exquisite. It is among the few military vehicles where the weathering patterns can be borrowed from civilian equivalents, thus no need to use imagination. Just, throw the dirt on the plastic.

Amazing job. The weathering looks like it just came out of the field. I have always been fascinated with "civilian" construction equipment in the military. Now if someone would only put out a 1/35 kit of a WWII Allis Chalmers crawler tractor...my grandfather designed the blades and hydraulics that went with them. Always enjoy seeing your work!
