Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire I
Tamiya's new tool Spitfire I was an opportunity to explore the characteristics of early Spitfires. The new tool kit is more detailed and has photoetch parts. I used the instructions and spare parts to upgrade the original 1993 mold. The result was that it is almost impossible to distinguish between the two models.
Yet, in terms of accuracy and detailing the Eduard equivalent kit is still superior.
Gorgeous, just gorgeous Rafi @blackmopane! Love the Mk.I and early schemes.
Thank you Felix!
Excellent work on both, Rafi @blackmopane
Thank you John.
Fantastic job, Rafi!
As always, painting and weathering are supreme!
Thank you Spiros!
Eduard has stolen Tamiya's lunch money and stuffed them in their locker. 🙂
Nice work on these two, Rafi.
Thank you Tom.
Tamiya's optional fuselage-canopy arrangement was a bad idea.
Nice Spits, Rafi.
Thank you John.
