Italeri 1/32, Macchi MC.202 Folgore
Macchi MC.202 Folgore, used by Regia Aeronautica 84. Squadriglia, 10. Gruppo, 4. Stormo. Located in Sicily 1943. Very fine looking aircraft, one of the best Italian Air Force fighter during WW2.
Painted with Lifecolor acrylics (Regia Aeronautica WWII, Set 1). I used colors from the set, but upper side brown is mixed with colors UA529/528.
Weathering with Abteilung 502, Tamiya and Vallejo products.
This is really an amazing build, Jarmo @jp
Everything on this build looks great, the painting, the weathering, the details, everything.
Well done.
As our friend Indiana Jones would say: "That Belongs in a MUSEUM!"
Inspiring build, Jarmo!
Great job, Jarmo!
That's a real beauty!
Thanks for comment guys, glad you liked it.
Hi Jarmo. Fantastic looking Macchi, if you have built any of the PCM kits does the Italeri kit offer anything better ? Only asking as I have the all the PCM kits and just need a prod to get me going 🙄
Thanks Guy. Sorry, no experience with PCM kits, so cannot compare those. In Italeri kit there were many injector marks, but that's the situation quite often with that manufacturer. On the other hand, Italeri delivers with the kit quite many PE-parts and also 3d-printed decals for the cockpit.
Thank you Jarmo. Think I will get going on the PCM Kits and still may try the older Craftwerks resin one 👍
Very nice!
Fantastic paintwork! I really like that more subtle scheme - usually see the more contrasty desert tan base color.
Beautiful work! What a model!
Excellent model, Jarmo!
