Dragon 1/48 Messerschmitt Me 262A-1a/U3 Reconnaissance
A model that I completed a while back that shows signs of aging. I had to repaint the yellowing balkenkreuz. The vinyl tires also eat their way slowly into the wheel rims. Yet, it is one of the prominent 262 in my collection thanks to the teardrop camera covers and the unique camouflage pattern.
Wow! The camp is really amazing. Nicely done.
Thank you Jeff!
Excellent 262, Rafi!
Congratulations!
Indeed, a prominent version of the Schwalbe. Nice retouching of the Balkenkreuz! Yes, those vinyl tires have an appetite for styrene.
Thank you Spiros!
Great looking Schwalbe, Rafi @blackmopane
Definitely an eye catching scheme.
I was not aware that vinyl attacks polystyrene, thanks for warning.
Thank you John.
About 1 to 5 eats the plastic. Yet, those that don't may crack.
Great paint job.
Thank you John!
Very nicepaintwork. This looks a lot like the restored recon Me-262.
Thank you Tom.
Having built also No. 2, I opted for a lighter squiggle version.
Nice refurbish on that kit Rafi. I will have to check the tires on mine ( I coated the tires with clearcoat to see if it might slow this process down a bit)
Thank you.
Chances are that nothing happened.
Very nice! Amazing work on the camo pattern, even at 1/48!
Thank you Greg!
This one looks awesome, beautiful build Rafi @blackmopane!
Thank you Felix.
