Dragon 1/48 Ju 88A-17

October 26, 2024 · in Aviation · 10 · 258

The Junkers Ju-88A-17 was the torpedo bomber version of the Schnell bomber. In addition to two torpedoes it had its ventral gondola deleted.
Since Dragon did not issue a dedicated version of the torpedo bomber, I used spare parts from other 1/48th Luftwaffe models to adapt the A-4 to the A-17 version.

  1. You definitely have that wave-mirror pattern down, Rafi. Nice work here.

  2. Excellent job, spectacular painting and weathering, Rafi! Are these rocket boosters hanging from the wings?

  3. That's a super build Rafi. Wave pattern looks spot on 😊

  4. Great work on this Junkers 88, Rafi @blackmopane
A nice variant with those torpedoes and pods.
    Well done.

  5. You are definitely a pro with the squiggles! First time I've seen them applied to the bottom of an aircraft - unique look!
