Dragon 1/48 Ju 88C-6
The Germans used the Ju 88C-6 as a Tag Zerstorer (Day Destroyer) in the Eastern Front. The fake bomber windows were painted to lure enemy fighters into head on attacks. The effectiveness as well of the fate of the depicted 4. Staffel/KG 76. aircraft that carries temporary winter camouflage are unknown.
Whew - really love the paintwork on this one! A real WOWSER!
Thank you Greg!
A great looking Ju88, Rafi @blackmopane
Quite a unique variant with those fake windows. Never saw this before.
Thank you John.
Really nice finish on this. The fake nose is a nice touch.
Thank you Tom.
Fantastic job and superb result, Rafi!
Thank you Spiros!
Oooooooooo that Ju looks just so good Rafi. Did you encounter any tricky issues with the Dragon kit Rafi ? Love the finish.
Thank you Guy.
Dragon's Ju 88 variants are notoriously known for fit issues, particularly wings with fuselage and canopy to different degrees depending on the variant. Yet, when completed the models are true to the origin.
Cheers Rafi 👍
Well done, as usual!
Thank you, Chas!
