Polar Lights1/25 Batmobile.

January 11, 2025 · in Automotive · 11 · 131

Hi There,

My first completion of the New Year.
This one has been on the go in the background. Even longer than I thought it would be as I started the line decals and they were such a nightmare to get bedded down that I put the rest off for some time.
Eventually I got on with them and they are what they are.
The kit goes together really well and the only time I had to clamp something was right at the end to get the shell and chassis together evenly.

Primed with Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black.
Painted with Tamiya Lacquer Gloss Black, Semi-Gloss Black, Olive Green and Clear Red.
Xtreme Metals Chrome and Steel.
Finished with Mr. Hobby GX100 Super Clear.

  6. That Batmobile looks very nice as if it’s just driven out of the sixties TV series!
    Such an iconic car.
I restored a badly damaged Corgi Toys Batmobile a few years ago.

  7. Worth the effort, Alistair (@alistairfgauld), outstanding results. I have built 3 Batmobiles over the years, and each one brings back some great memories of the movies and the time when each was released. Well done.
