Me 262 HG III Entwurf III "What If" (Amusing Hobby 1/48)
This is a relatively new Amuzing Hobby kit from their "What If" series. This plane certainly didn't exist. But it's a nice kit for a build where you don't have to think about authentic colors, historical accuracy and so on. Just add a bit of your own imagination to a fantasy kit and that's it.
I made a "captured" version using spare Yugoslavian Partisan decals - this was one of the options for the Bf 109G-10 from the Exito "The Last in Line" decal pack. So that's the RLM 74/75/76 scheme with overpainted areas.
Thanks for watching!
Very what-iffy. Well done
Thanks, George!
What a fantasy. Finished fantastically.
Thank you, Tom!
Excellent result, Dmitry!
Congratulations!
Thank you, Spiros!
G’day Dmitry (@starfar),
That would have been an interesting aircraft to try and fly and land - a bit like a jet powered Gee Bee.
What-ifs can be fun if you don’t thake them too seriously.
Liked!
Thanks, Michael! Exactly, what-ifs are great for a fun build, and I think that's the purpose.
Nice work on this what-if 262, Dmitry @starfar
Thanks, John!
Great looking build. Very eye catching design
Thank you, Gary!
Interesting, and well executed! Looks great.
Thank you, Greg!
What-ifs are always fun as long as there is some logic to the design. I couldn't think why the cockpit would be so far back until I figure that engines and fuselage fuel would be on the center of gravity. The Germans had some wild ideas and some of them might have actually worked.
Great build! Regardless of the subject, I enjoy seeing well built models.
Thank you, Chuck!
Lovely work Dimitry @starfar.
Wonderful in a slightly bonkers way - love the partisan markings!
Thanks, David!
