The 1/20th scale Honda RA272

April 1, 2025 · in Automotive · · 8 · 135

Here is the RA272 F1 car driven to victory in the Mexico GP in 1967. This little kit was built for an upcoming feature in Magneto Magazine.

This is a fun little kit and great for someone who wants to take a stab at a F1 car. The kit goes together great and there is plenty of opportunity to add lines and other details, an the kit is cheap, only about 20 bucks!

Fun build! Look for the feature article about yours truly in April!

  1. That's a beautiful model, Rick! 👍 I remember when Honda made their F1 debut; I had forgotten that they had a V-12 engine though. So cool, that's an inspiring build! 🤩

  2. Thank you Gary! A fun build!

  3. Great work on a classic F1 car, and it’s the Japanese Grand Prix this weekend, check out the Red Bull colour scheme for this race, it’s a homage to this classic Honda.
