I notice that in both posts all the subjects share a similar sized base, which serves to focus attention and raise dramatic impact. Very nice. Thanks for posting.
I firmly believe that a scale model is well-served by a display base, much in the way that a picture needs a frame. It sets off the subjects, creates context, helps to lead the viewerr's attention.
