Tamiya P-51K/Mustang IV
Tamiya P-51D turned into a P-51K using the Aeroproducts prop blades for the Eduard P-39Q (4-blad) prop and Red Roo decals with Falcon "Dallas" canopy. 3 Squadron RAAF in Italy, Spring 1945. Most RAF Mustang IVs came from the P-51K production, but some were fitted with Hamilton-Standard P-51D props, so check the photo of the airplane you've chosen to do.
Gorgeous work.
Atsa nice Mustang Tom!
Tom, your builds always look flawless. I hope that some day I can paint a camouflage pattern as well as you can. Fantastic work, as per your usual.
That's only because you're seeing them in photos.
Someone whose home address is "Le Chateau du Chat" has "flawless" models? HAH! And HAHA! Sometimes though...
Tom, nice to see a -K in Australian markings. Unless you have a hermetically sealed display case, le cirque du chat will leave le fur on your maqettes. Craig can confirm this, as well.
You've lost me in the translation...
The circus of cats will leave fur on the models.
Oh...yeah - (and dust from the litter box, too)
Always good to see a Mustang in different schemes from the usual ones. Nice model!
Nice job, TC...I like it.
Good to see more Aussie Mustangs!
I love Mustangs with RAF cammo! Nice build Tom.
