Tiger I Ausf Afrika
The Tamiya kit, 1/35 scale, with Modelkasten tracks and Aber PE. I added a Jordi Rubio aluminium gun barrel too.
This Tiger I is the tank of the Lt. Vermehren and belong to I/Sch.Pz.Reg. 501 in Tunisia. The Tiger I #121 was disabled by a land mine on 27 february 1943.
Tamiya always DID make nice armor kits...still do. Nice build.
Thanks Craig
VERY nicely done, Sr. Cubas! Great Tiger.
Thank you very much Jeff
Great looking beast!
Thanks Robert
Great detail. Love the cables.
Thanks for looking Matt
I like all of the little details on this one... Front fender and headlight mods. Damage to the side skirt fenders. Mirror tracks. Feiffel air cleaners... Heat shields on the mufflers... Its got it all. Two thumbs up Sir ! You built a very good looking Tiger. Each time I look at it I notice something new.
Thanks for your words Louis. I'm so glad you like my job.
Hey, if Louis likes your Tiger, you are doing SOMETHING right!
I hope that David 🙂
Really looks the part! The commander figure has real character!
Thanks Bernard. The figure represent to Leutnant Vermehren, who commanded the tank.
Easy, Tiger, only it can't have been all that easy with the extra work you've put into this, excellent work. Another candidate for the Year of the Cat group build, you've just got time to enter it.
Thanks George. I'll have a look.
The figure's as good as the tank model (not always the case). Excellent work!
Thanks a lot Tom
