Me-262A-1a schwalbe 1:48 Tamiya, aires…
Hi Guys,
I want to share my next model, famous messerschmit jet engine fighter Me 262 Schwalbe. I used tamiya kit, aires detail set (engine, cockpit, control surfaces...) and photoetched parts by eduard. I also scratched all of service covers and hatches on fuselage and wings. Camouflage was painted by GSI acrylic colors. Model represents,,white 17,, III/EJG 2 flown by Franz Holzinger from 1945.
I hope that you like it 🙂
An even more detailed build to follow your Spitfire. I notice that you gave yourself more material to work by going to 1/48. The paint job is great and you showed a lot of patience by displaying both engines rather than one. Does the Aires set include both engines or were you just taking on more work and bought two of them?
That's one really awsome model Jan! Of one of my basolute favourite subjects may I add!
Nice to see a 262 in the earlier 74/75/76 scheme.
Best regards
Magnus
Thanks! Yes, aires set include both engines. 🙂
So you HOPE we like it? 😆 Good to see you again at iModeler, and this model is a real eye-candy. Thanks for sharing /M
That's a stunning build in all respects.
Thanks for sharing, Jan! 🙂
Exceptional workmanship & detailing.
All my adjectives have been used...I can't add any more praise to what's already been stated. Stellar craftsmanship, sir.
Wow! That's a fantastic 262 Jan! If that's not a "model of the month", I don't know what would be. One of the finest Me-262s I've ever seen!
Best regards, Gary
I wanted to add that all the open little access panels are just totally cool!
Jan,
This is absolutely stunning. Outstanding craftsmanship.
Very nice build, great detail that most builders overlook or don't expand on. The exposed engines are always a plus!
A stunning job there! I particularly like the very eye-catching paintscheme and the attention to details otherwise overlooked like the exposed wing panels!
A demonstration of real mastery and serious talent.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Awsome!
Amazing!
Looks professional and ready for a book deal. One niggle given the camouflage is a variation of blues and grays...change the back drop from a gray white to either a green or blue one to make the kit pop out and show all of that detail.
Two thumbs up and a hot contender for model of the month.
Outstanding build, a sure fire museum piece.
It's brilliant, Jan, really very, very good. I keep thinking I'd like to build one of these, but I know it would never be anywhere so good!
