Freezin´Wulf…Eduard 1/48 Focke-Wulf Fw190A-4 “Greenheart”

January 12, 2020 · in Aviation · · 6 · 1.8K

Built in 2017.

When released the new genetration 190, my dad had to build one. Finally also the first model of our Austrian WW2 leading ace Nowotny.

The kit is definitely to recommend. Fit and engineering are far better then with Eduard´s initial 190ies. Only the main wheel seem still too thin.

Built OOB, painted as usual with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics, lead wire and plastic rods for the brake lines, fishing line for the aerials.

  1. This build checks all of the boxes ! It's a 190, and it's painted flawlessly in a JG 54 color scheme... perfect in all aspects. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us. The last two pictures with the "Red 190" and is cousin the 109 are very interesting as well. This is a nice touch.
