February 24, 2020 · in Aviation · · 7 · 3K

Here are my latest finished kit from Czech company AZ Models in 1/144 scale. Yak-40 was small personal designed in Sowiet Union in 1966 year. Kit are poor type kit. I has aded many aditional work for building this kit.

I have used these colors and suplies:

  • GSI Mr. Color Surfacer 1000 thinned with GSI Mr. Color Levelling Thinner
  • white, black, red and grey colors are mix of GSI Mr. Color paints range
  • gloss varnish are GSI GX-100 Gloss Clear heavilly thinned with GSI Mr. Color Levelling Thinner
  • panel lines are washed with Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color (mixed with Tamiya enamel paints)
  • all surfacers, colors and varnishes are sanded and polished

Conclusion:
Kit are bad for building. Many parts was rebuilded (for example: I must shorten wheel legs up to 3 mm down...). I donΒ΄t recomended this kit.
