1/48 Eduard Sopwith Camel
To celebrate 100 years RAAF, here is my Eduard 1/48 Sopwith Camel F.1 B5248 AFC (Australian Flying Corps) Minchinhampton Englad, 1918. This is the old 2003 release. Little bastard is done, finally. Difficult build completed this morning. Aussie Decals used. They fell apart but I managed to save the kangaroo and serial number. The rest is kit decals. Rigging is ez line. #eduard #48scale #sopwithcamel Glad it's done. ?

That's a great idea. Being Australian, I have many RAAF subjects. A group build would go down well, I think.

Great looking build Paul, I concur about the fiddly nature of these - I did an Eduard 1/48 SE5a a while back and it nearly finished me. Nice kit but the rigging was difficult.
You've done a great job with this, and yes I felt the same - the last 1/48 biplane I'd build. That said I'm currently coming to the end of the Roden He 51 that is part of the Eduard Condor Legion double pack. It is much worse. Only 1/32nd biplanes from this point on - although the fact that I am doing the He 51 shows you should never say never!
I noticed, looking at your blog that you have been building some beautiful 1/48th WW1 subjects recently. I'm sure you'll be back with another soon!
