Very nice,Kevin. What year was this race car on the circuit ? I used to religiously follow the endurance races like the 24 hrs of Le Mans when Porsche’s were part of the line-up.
That was in the late 60 ies and after. Steve Mc. queen was in one of them race cars ( probably Ford ) for the namesake movie. He went slow while others had to manoeuvre around him !

Many thanks Bernard! The car was (I believe) raced in 1984. It seems we have some common interests as I too enjoy endurance racing. I attended the 24 hr Le Mans race in 2015 when Porsche returned to Le Mans and actually won...a great experience as we camped on the Porsche Bends with the Porsche Club of Great Britain. All in all, a great experience! I even enjoyed the drive down to Le Mans...

Thanks George...I do have a thing for orange Porsche's and in fact the work in progress is the Tamiya 1/12 934 Jagermeister from the original issue (1970's?) This is proving a challenge as the 'rubber' parts in the kit have deteriorated and have become un-usuable. I'm toying with the idea of buying the re-issued kit in order to overcome this problem.
Great work! Tamiya kits are terrific-race cars in particular.

Hi Kevin, this is only the 1/24 kit so no engine detail, only what you can see from underneath.
