Tamiya 1/24
It's an old kit from Tamiya but the only for this car...
The 936 turbo win LeMans in 1977 with Jacky Ickx, Hurley Haywood and Jürgen Barth.
I'd probably have to do a Gulf-Porsche 917! They're pretty far out! (If you scour YouTube, there's a video of someone driving one on the streets around his house and also on the freeway! Sound's like something I'd do!)
Very nice Olivier. Gloss white is not easy to paint but it appears you laid yours on perfectly.
Nice job on those big decals too.
It looks great, Oliver, and it's always nice to see something different, done well.
A classic in every way, Olivier, you've applied those Martini stripes beautifully.
Le Mans 24 hour group build, anyone?
YES ! in my little stock I have the Fujimi 917K , Tamiya Mazda 767, Porsche 956, Toyota GT One, Revell Audi R10, Porsche 962C, Porsche GT1...

I'd like to try a Fujimi McLaren F1 GTR from 1997 in the white and blue FINA livery...
I'd be interested in that. Was at Sebring over the weekend and there were a couple of Spec Miatas running with the Wyer/Gulf livery and looked great.
Did they also use these in Can-Am, or was that still a 917 variant? There's a race series that should make a comeback!
I think the Can-Am 917's were different, but, you're right, it was a great series.
that looks amazing
Olivier
I am truly impressed with this little beauty.
