  1. Amazing result, Tolga! Looks absolutely identical to the 1:1 seen at the pic!

  2. Beautifully done, Tolga, as always. Tangmere is in the South Downs, one of the most beautiful places in the UK.

  3. Great looking model of one of the coolest Spitfire marks.

  4. Another Tolga beauty. Well done all around!

  5. Excellent Spitfire, all those extras really paid off, it’s a fabulous model Tolga

  6. What more to say, Tolga @tolgaul
So much compliments to be given on this result.
This short wing Spitfire is a true gem.

  7. Gorgeous as always! What more can I say?!

  8. Beautiful work! All the attention to detail really paid off. Thanks for sharing!

  9. Beautiful work on a project that takes extra effort. Great result.
For those who might be interested in doing something similar, but can't find the Paragon parts since they're no longer available, Greymatter has all the parts needed to do this project - the Griffon cowling, the "C" wings, the pointed rudder, the works. I did the conversion using those parts abut 10 years ago. Like this project, "some modeling skill" is required but the result is worth the effort.

    • Thanks Tom (@tcinla)

I bought Paragon's set about 10 years ago.

I waited a long time to get started, maybe someone would release a new tool Griffon. It only released the PCM Mk14 during this time.

This indifference to Spitfires with 1/32 Griffon engines on the manufacturer's side is surprising and also sadly.

By the way, if I'm not mistaken, Gay matter is also closed this year. They no longer exist.

Let's hope, though, that a new tool 1/32 Spit 12, 14, 18 or even 22 will be produced soon.

  10. Great result Tolga. I like the way you build.

  11. Brilliant. Unusual subject. I doubt if there'll ever be a 1/32 Griffon spit OOB.

  12. Thanks Ross @ross4
I hope we see it one day

  13. There's something about the Spitfire XII & you've captured it beautifully.
Maybe 3D printing will fill the gap?
