1/72 F-35A LIGHTNINGⅡ "65th Aggressor Squadron"
Tamiya's wonderful 1/48 kit has just been released, and now I have put together Hasegawa's 1/72 kit.
Hasegawa's 1/72 F-35A can be easily assembled with a small number of parts.
This time, I assembled this Aggressor-specification thing to enjoy painting with that Hasegawa kit.
The details are painted according to Tamiya's instructions and details are added.
The camouflage paint provided by decals is also painted by masking, and each sensor has a sticker of polarized material.
Awesome Lightning, Dagored @dagored
This scheme is really great.
Wish our airface did have their F35's in this scheme in stead of their dull grey, would make them look more aggressive.
It's too bad the F35 doesn't have more paint variations. In such a situation, I thought this Aggressor aircraft had a wonderful camouflage paint job, which is very valuable.
Looks great! I've heard a lot of talk about how awesome an F-35 would look in an aggressor scheme, but this is the first I can recall seeing completed. Love it! You're build also just looks exceptionally detailed for 1/72.
I have been looking forward to the release of the Aggressor-spec kit ever since I knew it would be available. Hasegawa's kit was a good kit that could be assembled with a small number of parts in a cool way.
Great paint scheme on this F-35. This Hasegawa kit really looks nice.
The good thing about Hasegawa's kits is that they are easy to assemble and allow you to concentrate on painting and finishing.
Amazing result, especially for the scale, Dagored!
Thank you very much, this time I tried to achieve a finish that looks like a state-of-the-art aircraft.
I now know how I'll be painting my F-35! Looks awesome, Dagored.
Thank you, I am glad it was helpful in your production.
Very cool! This is definitely a more interesting scheme than the typical F-35. Well done.
It was a fun task to recreate a paint scheme not seen on other F-35s.
Very nice work and a superb result. A "grey jet" that you cannot stick the words "another boring" in front of. 🙂
This definitely looks a lot better than the typical scheme, which does qualify for the above appelation.
It was fun to be able to recreate the F-35 in its unique camouflage paint scheme, as it looks very unique.
Awesome F-35, really like the paint schema and weathering on your build.
Thank you, I am glad you liked it.
Great build, especially in 1/72 scale.
Thank you very much.
A Impressive build, the camouflaged scheme looks to be based on Keith Ferris and Healy's camouflages experiments in the 80s and 90's. F-15 and F-14 got painted up in splinter patterns. Of course the Russians paint up there Sukhoi Su-57 with a similar pattern.
Some strong work Dagored. A neat, tight and crisp presentation that makes for some eye candy.
Two thumbs up.
The camouflage is reminiscent of the SU-57 and J-20, which is typical of the Aggressor aircraft.
I am very happy that you liked it.
