Hasegawa 1/48 F-8E Crusader
In the real Crusader aircraft the panel lines are not so obvious. Yet, I made an exception to enhance the 3D feel of this classic naval fighter.

Only the lower surfaces of the model are painted. I left the natural plastic as is and applied dark water based paint on the panel lines. I then, wiped off the excess paint and painted the seams and canopy with a matching color to the plastic. Finally, after the decals were applied, I gave a touch of matt transparent paint to hide the plastic shine.
Nice F-8, Rafi! The Crusader is my second favorite jet after the Mig-21.

Beautiful. Yes panel lines are not so prevalent, but model building is also art and adding them often gives depth that would be lost without them. I tend to add them on lighter finishes and not use them as much on darker ones
