Here is Revell's 1/48 F-86D Sabre Dog built entirely OOB and finished with Vallejo acrylics.
It is a really nice kit with engraved panel lines, good fit, and nice detail in the wheel wells. The only trouble I had with the build was in the cockpit, some of which was probably self inflicted. The biggest shortcoming with the kit were the kit supplied decals which were more similar to the thickness of masking tape than they were any decals I've used before.
After lots and lots of Micro Set and Micro Sol they look acceptable but if you are considering building this kit do your self a favor and look at some of the nice aftermarket sets available.

1. Noticed that after I posted the gear door fell off. . . it is back on!
Don't forget to add some weight in the nose (I used pennies) or you will have yourself a tail sitter! For the prices you can find this kit for online it presents a great value and will proudly take its place in any 1950's jet line up. Thanks for looking!

Excellent job, David!
A fine looking Sabre, David @dbutlr
Which Vallejo did you use for the NMF?
Thank you @johnb I used vallejo metal colors. They work nice, I am breaking in a new airbrush so i had to get used to the brush with them but regardless they are fabulous
Excellent David 😊 Love the Sabre Dog and I think it's one of Revells best. Super Sabbre 👍
Looks great, David.
That looks great, David. You're absolutely right about this kit's value. I had an older boxing, and found it necessary to source alternate decals.
Love this Dog.
The F-86D was my first successful NMF model (almost 2 decades ago and the only successful model I did with ALCLAD.)
Excellent looking model !
Nice NMF on this, David, you’ve obviously mastered your new airbrush.
Fantastic outcome, David. Paintwork and decals look great!
That's a great-looking Sabre Dog - well done.
Really nice work here, David. A very realistic-looking great result.
