Noorduyn Norseman
Here's my 1:48 Modelcraft UC-64A Noorduyn Norseman I picked up cheap at a contest a few years back. The main complaint about this kit is the exaggerated rib/fabric detail. It had the “starved cow” look. I sanded the ribs down until it looked more reasonable. I spent some time on the instrument panel, added seat belts, a resin R-1340 engine, and wired it up. I finished it as a USAAF UC-64A of the 320th Transport Squadron based in the UK in July 1944. Model Master paint and kit decals. A fun build.

That looks great Chas. This is an airplane I'm not that familiar with. I really like it, very cool looking observation plane. I ma in the process of building an foam R/C plane from scratch of my own design and to my surprise it looks alot like this Norsemen. I must have seen one long ago and it stuck in the back of my head. Beautiful job on your build their.
