1/48 italeri (Accurate Miniatures) Grumman TBF-1C Avenger
Started in 2023, this was my entry for our club “Gunna Build” competition at the beginning of the year.
1/72 Revell McDonell Douglas RF-4E Phantom II
Our club display theme for this years Australian Model Expo was “Phabulous Phantoms”. I don’t normally build 1/72, but had this in the stash. I decided to mount it on a rod and flying inverted to reveal the underside.

Having built the 1/72 Airfix kit in my youth, I had to build this one.

This the third aircraft of a “What-if?” series I’m building. It was supposed to have been completed for a club competition in 2023…

I bought this on a whim because it was cheap (A$28) and it turned out to be a quick and fun build.
1/48 Trumpeter Chengdu J-20 Mighty Dragon
The third 5th Gen aircraft to enter into service in significant numbers.
1/48 Zoukei-Mura McDonell Douglas F-4E Phantom II
I built this for the club “Phabulous Phantoms“ Expo display. I didn’t get all the 515 stencils (seriously) laid down in time. Nearly all of them silvered, which is a known issue with this kit, so beware. On the eve of the New Year, I’ve finally completed this build.
1/48 Trumpeter Chengdu J-10C Vigorous Dragon
Another Chinese “near peer” aircraft. Just finished tonight to squeeze it into 2024.
