  1. Clean-lookin' little build - well worth the wait...nice job.

  2. Brian, I'm hooked on P-40s anyhow, and this is a showstopper. The paint and the decals are spot on. There's enough weathering, without it looking like it came off the dump.
Plus, it's a tribute to the guys who held the line against the Japanese onslaught when it was not a given that we'd win. Dark days, indeed.

  3. 3 thumbs up! - the P-40 is one of my favorites, this is a terrific work of art and skill. Thanks for sharing.

  4. The 49th FG "Fort-niners" was "graduate school" for a number of later 8th AF Famous People.

Flying from Sydney to Darwin was like flying from Boston to Houston, around the edge of the country, without navigation aids. One pilot was quoted that "you could mark the trail by the crashed P-40 wrecks."

  5. Another great looking model from your production line, Brian.

  6. I said it before, and I'll say it again, you're a BEAST!
Another great job, Brian, looks really good.
"Production line..." George hit the nail, squarely! LOL!

  7. I never met a P-40 I didn't like. Great job. 🙂 Not sure what Tom meant by "around the edge" in his comment. To get from Sydney to Darwin, which I've done, you go inland. But I may have just misunderstood Toms comment. Anyway, great job. 🙂

  8. Nice looking E-model. I also love the P-40 - got 2 done and another in the stash - but don't have an E. Need to get one...

  9. Nice build
