Tamiya "Follow me " Willys Jeep 1/48
The kit is very easy to assemble and quite well detailed , it makes a nice addition to any WW2 U.S. aircraft. I have seen lots of pictures of these follow me jeeps adorned with home made timber structures and saucy artwork to keep the attention of the crew they were guiding and of course just because boys will be boys ! I'm not sure if the radio operator came with the kit or with my 1/48 B29,altogether a highly recommended little kit.

I'd follow her any where. good job.
She's a peach ain't she. N.
Nice little build...excellent weathering on those drums, too.
Cheers Craig ,the radio man looks a bit stiff ,like he's taking it all a bit too seriously, maybe it was his first day on the job ,N.
Nice little build Neil.
Didn`t you build her for the B 29?
Like the "follow me" sign..
Cheers Simes, yeah I built it to sit near the B29 but it goes well next anything USAAF/WW2,thanks for looking pal.

"Nice Rack", you know, the one built on the back of the jeep to hold up the sign. Who ever thought a bunch of airman , far from home would follow a nice cleavage around in an airplane, hmmmm!
Nice work on this Neil, and a nice piece of history.
Thanks Terry, it isn't copied from an actual vehicle just a figment of my imagination, the rack is made from bits of icelolly stick and the chick is cut out from a business card.N
Fun little build, and nice creative touch!
Thanks Greg,N.
i love it Neil
Most kind sir,N.
I've followed worse!
Cheers,N.
