Anthony, wow! This is a beautiful model! Once upon a time (think 1971-72) there was a model Yamato that was nearly 7 feet long, 1/48 scale, or something of that sort. It was HUGE! Is this the same kit? At the time I could get one of these kits for $89.85 if I remember correctly, but at that time, I was fairly newly married, just had a baby girl, was trying to afford to stay in college, and THEN got my draft notice! A $90 kit was sooooo much more than I could afford, but I sure wish I had a dozen of these to sell now in 2017! I THINK they were Tamiya kits. Anyway, your work is superb! I've never built any ships, only a couple cars, a few tanks, & a bunch of planes in 1/48 & 1/72 scale. I really admire this!
Thank you for your words Jeffry, I explain to you, the yamato that I show in the photographies, it is the old tool from Tamiya (1979) in scale 1/350 ... now exists a new tool of this ship 1/350 much detailed, but at a high price, regards.
What a model - absolutely superb. There has been (and never will be) a more graceful ship to see on the sea. My favourite ship by a country mile and you have done this mighty ship proud. Awesome job. PS - i made the model back in 1985 and still have it but its nowhere near as good a build as you have done. Great job!
