Blast from the past,Revell Saab J-35 Draken, Danish A.F.
Another one from the cheap seats, Picked this up at one of the few hobby shops that sells old kits. Forgot how basic this kit was. Added under wing stores from spares the kit had none., Added some scoops and bumps and pitot tube, The kit decals were trash so I used Modeldecal sheet 17 with Danish markings. The kit came with the famous Revell 'detailed pilot figure'. ha ha.
Bob, haven't seen one in years, and none ever built! It looks really good, and in Danish markings. Airfix also had one, and later one, so did Heller.
I always thought the Draken was ahead of its time, just a neat looking aircraft.
Sleek looking jet...especially mounted on the home made stand.
Nicely done Robert, looks good, I want to do one in the Acro Deltas scheme !
Man I remember building that kit many years ago, looks great!
Very cool!
Gotta love those blasts from the past. What's not to like and they're fun to build as well.Nice job.
Looks good Robert! I've got this same kit, although I think I already bought extra decals for it. I really love building these old, simple kits for a break from the massive-part-count new stuff sometimes!
I built one years ago, what drew me back to it was the 'recessed rivet detail'.
