I Like Jugs
Not too long ago I posted an article about my 1/144 P-47D bubble tops from Platz. I had a chance to pick up the razorback version at a recent model contest. Today I present one of the two kits in the box. So, I now have another addition to a large collection of P-47s.
Very nice. I struggle masking the framing on 1/48, I can't imagine 1/144
The frame was done freehand π
You're not foolin' us for a minute, Scott...1/144th scale ? HAH! That's at least a 72nd scale kit (if not bigger) - no way you did that good a job on that small a model! I also notice (or rather, didn't notice) that you omitted a "common object" in one of your photos for us naysayers to have a reference from which to gain perspective. Very clever, my friend. 1/144th scale? Prove it! π
Not gonna add another pic for us, huh...?
I will when I get the second one done. Should be done by the end of the week. I'll make sure to have a common object with both of them ?
π ... Greetings ... π :
I find it very hard NOT to like the JUG. You have done a nice work on this one Scott.
Nice!
Like Craig above, I find it difficult to believe this is 144th scale, it's so neat. On another point, where is "Miss Behave", she seems to be missing!
Nice, especially for the scale. Who doesn't love a Jug!
nice
As far as jugs go, I've always been partial to smaller ones. π All kidding aside, a very nice job. Surprisingly, 1/144 seems to be getting a little more popular despite the aging eyes of many modelers.
Personally, the bigger the jugs, the better. I'm a 1/32 man and just in awe of the beautiful work you've done here. Huge respect!
David, well put. I can only agree.
Thanks everyone for the kind words.
