I have found my niche with Tamiya motorcycle models (both 1/6 and 1/12 scales) in the last 2 or so years. I was nicknamed "Bike Queen" by a very good friend and it stuck and I’m proud to carry it.
Up until now I have built all Tamiya bikes, (about 30) I now have a few Aoshima and Fujimi bikes in the queue and most recently the Pocher, Ducati Panigale 1299 Final Edition 1/4 scale.
I am a volunteer firefighter for a small rural fire department.
I am also a certified watchmaker but no longer in the trade. My skills in that field have served me greatly in the last 2 and a half years of building 1/12th scale bikes. (Not to mention the tools)
I lost my husband in September of 2024, and it’s been a devastating blow, it’s been difficult to pick up the pieces and move on especially with modeling as he was my biggest fan. I will miss him forever.
I must thank the numerous members of iModeler who have reached out to me with support.
I am happy to have found iModeler and join a group of world class model builders of all scale and subjects!
