Into all things 1/48 WW1 and WW2. Aircraft, dios, armour etc. favourite topics are, Luftwaffe, RAAF , Dutch airforce, BoB, and anything that flies from around 1914-1946 essentially. 🙂
Recently started WW1 subjects. All of 2021. Can't see myself doing anything else for a while, unless more WW2 British bombers get released. Keeping an eye on that Beaufort release. LOL. 2023 now and I'm now getting into some 1/48 afv. And that Beaufort was one of my favourite builds of 2022.
1/48 Eduard Roland C.II flown by Lt Seibert and observer Hptm Pfleger FFA5b, Western Front, Fall of 1916. My first German 2 seater, it's a favourite due to the memories of my dad who built the same aircraft and markings, back in the 70s. [...]
1/48 Eduard Albatros W.4 Warnamunde Air Station, Baltic Sea May 1917. EZ line rigging. Fun build and looks great with my other albatrosess...albatrosii... whatever. Lol. Thanks for looking all.
1/48 Copper State Sopwith 5F.1 Dolphin, 16 Sqn RFC 1918. Fun, easy build with ez line fine rigging. My first build of this brand but definitely not the last. I have their other kits, but the more WW1 1/48 they bring out, the more I'll do. ?
Eduard 1/48 Fokker DVIII flown by Gefr. Kurt Blumener, Jasta 6. Bernes, France August 1918. When I'm not in the mood to do alot of rigging I build a late war Fokker. This one was easy as, to build. Back to rigging next though, with a [...]
Blue Max 1/48 Avro 504K completed. RFC/RAF 8 Training Sqn 1918. Not an easy build with the pewter parts but it's the best 504 around in my opinion. EZ line rigging.
Macchi M.5 flown by Domenico Arcidiacono, commander of 261st Squadron Venice, San Andrea. September-October 1918. 1/48 Fly kit, a fun easy build. Hand painted nose art and fuselage cause I couldn't find decals unless I wanted to buy the [...]
Spad XIII believed to be flown once or twice by 1Lt Ralph L Hartman, 93rd Aero Squadron 1918. 1/48 Eduard kit.
Nice build. Going Italian next. ?
Eduard 1/48 SE5a flown by Maj Roderick Dallas, DSO & Bar, DSC. 39 kills. at No. 40 Squadron, Bruay Airfield France May 1918. Not only an Australian, but also a QUEENSLANDER ? ?❤

Covid lockdown completed 1/48 Dragon Fokker Dvii F flown by VzFw Wilhem Hippert, Jasta 73 1918. Fun easy build with very little rigging (undercarriage only) An old kit started 20 odd years ago. Nice to see it completed finally.
Eduard 1/48 Fokker Dr1 flown by Rittmeister Manfred Freiherr von Richthofen. CO of JG 1 , Lechelle France, March 1918.
This is not the one he was shot down in and there's much conjecture regarding the red shade. I have a pic from the [...]
