Ah jus' loves me a model airplane...
Fell in love with Airfix 1/72, and some larger stuff as a kid, and by 18 was on to other endeavors. Re-discovered the hobby in 2004, as I needed something to do. I build WWII aircraft 1/48, pretty much OOB, and accept the contents of said box without resorting to blueprints. OK, so I've built a few turkeys, and am reluctant to weather my work to a great degree,but every build gets a little closer to being "there".
Professionally, I have been involved in the yachting industry on a global basis in any number of positions, and currently build things for people by turning expensive rough lumber into dust, noise and shape. Mid 60's . Single.
This one took a while-both due to the quirkiness of the build and my indecision as to a paint scheme. Most of the kit decals were suspect so I ended up hitting the spares box. As a result, this example may have been active in the Baltic or [...]

Typical clean Hasegawa build. Another aircraft that benefited from the development of the DB 601/5 series of engines.

Here's my two cent's worth.
OOB, except for seatbelts, underside painted, balance are kit decals.
Another 1/48 offering with an interesting history if you're into the obscure and obsolete. Not bad to build, an improvement over some of their other kits. Not as interesting as some of the other Italian camo schemes, but it grew on me. [...]
1/48 , and an interesting aircraft, and usual "interpretive" build, as one needs to get the parts to somehow hold hands long enough for the glue to set. Built several years ago, sans gloss coat, panel lines or weathering. [...]
Another quirky build-part of the AZ mystique. No idea of how accurate it is, but it's the only one out there.
Not good enough for US combat forces, it served well, particularly with the Indian A.F. There is a great account of Vengeance [...]
Built a couple of years ago, went together like a dream. Fun.
