1/48 Tamiya P51B using Ultracast seat and wheels, 500lb bombs from the Tamiya P-47 (imagine having a few spares there!)
Decals are from Red Roo, an Australian manufacturer of resin and decals dedicated to Australian subjects (check them [...]
1/48 Tamiya Beaufighter 455 Squadron (RAAF)
Here is my 1/48 Tamiya Beaufighter from 455 Squadron (RAAF)
Ultracast exhausts and DK Decals for the artwork codes etc.
I have plans for a few more Beaufighters - RAAF Mk21 and at least 2 nightfighters.

Hasegawa 1/48 Scale P-39
This is the wonderful Hasegawa P-400 / P-39 kit (depending on what box art you buy, the kits are the same, other than decals). The kit was a lot of fun to build, it goes together without any problems and with a few added details, [...]
Year of the Cat
OK... They are sharks teeth... but the AVG was also known as the "Flying Tigers" so I agree it may be a stretch. But so it goes... This is the superb Airfix P-40B. What can I say about all of the new Airfix kits that has not been [...]
F4U-1 Corsair
Another Tamiya kit at 1/48 scale (all my aircraft models are at the same scale...) It belongs to US Navy VF-17 Jolly Rogers at Pacific Theatre of Operations in 1944.

the kit is the [...]
Year of the Cat
This is an out of the box Eduard kit of the F6F-3. This is a very nice kit with the exceptions of the decals. I had a problem with some of them wandering and warping all over the place. I managed to save the significant decals for this [...]
Year of the Cat
this is the Hobby Boss F8F-1 straight from the box. A great build and I think the Hobby Boss kit is a wonderful kit of their aircraft. I used the kit decals and they represent an A/C of VF-3 flown by Lt A.M.Granat in 1946.
AMP 1/48 Sikorsky HO3S-1 “Horse”
The “Horse”:
The H-5 was originally built by Sikorsky as its model S-48, designated as the R-5 by the United States Army Air Forces. It was designed to provide a helicopter having greater useful load, endurance, speed, and service [...]
Nose Art Group Build – North American P-51D Mustang, Monogram 1/48
Here's my first model for the Nose Art Group Build, the venerable and somewhat ill-fitting Monogram P-51D. The kit was intended to honor my five year old grandson, who shares his name with John Meyer's famous Mustang "Petie". [...]
