My contributions to the “FL-19, Pearl Harbor 80th Anniversary Tribute, Group Build” are based on two existing artifacts that were, so-called, “eyewitnesses” to the attack:

Hasegawa 1/72 Mitsubishi F-2A
Hasegawa 1/72 scale kit
I assembled the 1/72 F-2 from the standard box.
I made some modifications to the nose cable, AOA sensor, pitot tube, wing tip cables and nozzles, but the rest of the kit is as is.
Revell 1/72 Spitfire Mk Vb
What can I say, not a bad little kit.
It went together quite well with minor scraping and filling.
Built OOB the only additions were a small piece of brass tube for a short shot in the cockpit and scrap photoetch for the rear view [...]
