Hasegawa model kits

1/72 Hasegawa FW-190 D-9

An end-of-February-addition from me... I got this one from a friend in unpainted condition and after languishing alone in it's box for a few years I let it be part of my happy Ta-152-family... Big brother was finished before it's younger [...]

Hasegawa 1:48 scale Kawanishi N1K1-Ja

Little older kit here but fit seems decent. So far so good and it's about ready to paint her up. NMF on the lower surfaces and Kawanashi Navy Green on the top. More pictures to follow... Freddie

Hasegawa, 1:48 scale Mitsubishi F1M2, Type 0, Model 11, Observation Seaplane- "Pete"

This was another recent Hasegawa release that really is a blast to build. First attempt at a bi-plane as well. Kit builds very nicely and is another OOB effort...again. Painted with Model Master Enamels in early war Imperial Japanese Navy [...]

1:32 Scale Hasegawa Focke Wulf Fw-190A-5

This is one of Hasegawa's newer kits of this famous aircraft, and one of the fastest models I've ever built. I think it took me about a week, maybe a couple days longer from start to finish. Model was again built OOB, with the only [...]

1:48 Hasegawa P-40K-5CU

Hey folks, my first post here. Kit is the 1:48 scale Hasegawa P-40K "Warhawk". Model is built pretty much out of the box with the exception of the resin wheels from True Details and the wire brake lines...not really OOB now is [...]

1/48 A-4F

This is a Hobbycraft Scooter kit finished with Humbrol paints and Cutting Edge decals. I'm a big fan of the HC A-4s. A bit less detailed, but alot cheaper then Hasegawa Scooters. They also come complete with a large array of weapons.

The wait is over for Bill Koppos’s Third-favorite model…..

of all time...so far. I never said it had to be one of my best models, just a favorite. The P-40 happens to be my favorite airplane so it's appropriate. It is the first model since my return to the hobby I considered "pretty [...]

1/48 Hasegawa Hurricane IIc "Persian Trainer"

This was done about ten years ago. I had an extra set of Hasegawa cockpit interior parts, having done one with a resin cockpit for a review, so I decided that since I had this old Aeromaster sheet of foreign Hurricanes with markings for a [...]

revie 1/48 f-14 d

Practice, practice, practice! This kit was used as practice for air brushing. the fit was terrible! The decals for low vis versions were 3 different shades! The only good thing about it was the decently detailed landing gear. Considered [...]

Another shark – 1/48 Hasegawa P-40K

The P-40K was a development from the P-40E, which continued use of the Allison V-1710 engine and appeared simultaneously with the P-40F, which used the Packard Merlin. The P-40K used the more powerful Allison V-1710-73 (F4R) engine, with [...]
