Thank you Tom!
Before Chirstmas, I had no idea what would be in store for me. And I'm sorry this went up so late, but family issues got in the way. So, thank you Tom Bebout for this wonderful package of a Blue Angel's F-18 and the Monogram Mosquito! [...]
The Need for Speed: Mk IV Mosquito PR Tamiya 1:48
Greetings, brothers. Here is my humble submission for a couple of GBs I obligated myself to, but heretofore have been unable to fulfill. One is the Centennial RAF GB, hosted by my friend Paul Barber (@yellow10); the other is iModeler at [...]
Airfix 1/48 Mosquito PR XVI
David Thomas has lamented that there are no PR Mosquitos here at iModeler. I thought to correct him, and then realized I hadn't posted this article about doing the Airfix PR XVI.
So now there is a PR Mosquito at iModeler!

1/32 Tamiya Mosquito Cockpit is finished
Well, I have to say that I am very pleased with the way this thing is turning out. It's taken weeks to get this far primarily because I took some time off, and I've only been working on it an hour or two in the evenings intead of my usual [...]
1/32 Tamiya Mosquito Cockpit II
A little more progress on the office. Managed to get everything in place and painted. I used Master brass gun barrels to replace the molded kit ones on the guns and painted them with Alclad Gun Metal followed by Mig Gun Metal pigment.
1/32 Tamiya DeHaviland Mosquito
Progress on the 1/32 Tamiya Mosquito. The cockpit is about 80% complete. All that's left is the navigator's seat and seatbelts, and some touch-ups here and there. I used RAF Interior Green from Mission Models. Small details (buttons, etc.) [...]
1/32 Tamiya Mosquito
Progress has been slow on this and not because it's a difficult kit to build. We're fostering a 6 month old Teacup Yorkshire Terrier who has taken up a lot of time so modeling has temporarily taken a back seat. Anyway, Ihave done a little [...]
1/32 Eduard Engines for TAmiya Mosquito
Started on the Eduard resin engines a few weeks ago. I can't believe the number of parts involved. There are literally hundreds. Anyway, I'm building this thing half battle worn and half bare wood to show how it was built and what it [...]
Review: Revell’s 1/48th de Havilland Mosquito – Actually not a bad kit
A quick summary of a review I did on the Revell Mosquito last in comparison to the Tamiya Mosquito.
Both kits very detailed. The idea was bandied about among friends and not so friendly ones as well. Anyone remember the response when [...]
Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito B. Mk. IV, Srs ii (Modified)
The Mosquito bomber was the original purpose of the D.H.98 design. RAF authorities were doubtful of its ability to operate without defensive armament, depending on its speed to outrun enemy interceptors. The bomber version was only ordered [...]
