Vietnam Scooter A-4E Skyhawk by Eduard, 1:48

December 2, 2017 in Aviation

This is finally done A-4E Skyhawk, which I won on iModeler as last January award.
It is almost pure box kit with just few additions – the biggest ones come from BigSin armament set for A-4 by Eduard.
The build is well documented here: http://imodeler.com/groups/work-in-progress-aircraft/forum/topic/scooters-double-build-a-4e-and-a-4f-in-148-eduard-hasegawa/
It was easy build, almost no issues, I am eager to finish next one in version F.
I must say it looks very nice and I am very very satisfied with the result – it is something I don’t say much 🙂
P.S.
I would like to thank to Johannes Gerl, who inspired me to updgrade my photobox with new LED lights! Thanks to them all colors and shades look natural and all detailes clear and sharp.

  4. Parádní práce Martin, viděl jsem v Bratislavě a moc se mi Scooter líbil.

  5. Thanks for the credits, Martin.
This is an unbelievable model! I really love that subtle style of your work.

  6. Now that right there is one fine looking build, my friend. Just keep it away from Ulf and his frying pan. 🙂

  7. Martin, just the right blend of weathering for an active aircraft. Beautifully done!

  8. What a superb build, Martin! Just outstanding in every respect. Your finish and weathering are particularly well-done.

  9. Your A-4 is just spectacular, Martin. Just recently we had another all grey A-4 shown on this pages and all compliments I gave it I feel I must repeat myself…just one of the best I’ve seen made. Very well painted, weathered realistically and overall a very solid build. Congrats Martin

  10. Thank you all, your support and cheering is important for me. I hope I will be able to finish another one with the same or even better weathering. I feel that I can still do better.

  11. Hello Martin,
    Excellent build and excellent photographs.
It’s a joy to look at when pictures are that large and clear.
    Regards, Dirk / The Netherlands.

  12. This kit is an absolute gem and you’ve taken it up a couple of more levels, the colour scheme is terrific, and your finish and weathering make it extra special.

  16. Awesome – love it! That’ a real eye-catcher, and I love the scheme you selected. Love your weathering and detail work – just fantastic.

  17. Another excellent build Martin. You captured the look very well. Just enough weathering on it. The panel lines and ordnance really help to bring it alive. I have been watching your progress through the build journal you did during construction. Two thumbs up sir !!! It’s the most authentic looking Scooter I’ve ever seen……….

  18. Superb model and nice scale down colors. Very detailed paint work and material feeling is perfect. Thank you for comprehensive work flow story.
