Tamiya 1/48 Beaufighter Mk1C 30 Sqd RAAF

April 25, 2013 · in Aviation · · 3 · 2.4K

Hi Everyone

It is ANZAC today here in Australia and here is my contribution to mark todays remembrance of our past / present servicemen & women.

Heritage Aviation Flat tail conversion
Southern Sky Decals (worked very well, single carrier film) - the pin up was a must build. Not many RAAF aircraft carried fuselage art!
Tamiya/Gunze paints

Thanks
Darren

  1. Next to the Supermarine Spitfire, the Beaufighter is my 2nd favorite RAF kite. The Beaufighter looks like a clenched fist with wings. Yours is a real beauty. I like the paint scheme and markings. Something about Dk Green & Dk Earth...wow! S'matter, you run out of Thunderbolts?

      Hi Seamus

      Plenty more P47's to do...
I try to build a few other aircraft from time to time!
The beaufighter is one of my favourites, next one probably a Nightfighter or RAAF Mk21.
      Thanks
      Darren
