Airfix 1/72 Hawker Typhoon 1B
Built OOB, finished in Testors and Tamiya acrylics.
I had planned on mounting bombs instead of rockets, for something a little different. However, I really didn't like the way the bombs ended up looking. I also left off the boarding step, as it was pretty much out of scale to my eye. I'm calling it done. A fun little kit with an MSRP of $9.00, and seems to be retailing for around $7.00 + change. Can't really beat that!

The saying; " You get what you pay for" rings true in many cases. But, in this case "Over and Above" applies to this kit. Which is sharp, crisp and Well done, well done indeed.
Two thumbs up.

Very well done. You made it attractive enough that I believe it will be the next addition to the stash.

Nice detail. Not like the Airfix 72's that I made as a kid. Great example.
