iModeler November Awards
Time has come again to announce our monthly iModeler winners.
I'm glad to let you know that this time our judging team has been joined by a new member, Ulf Lundberg. All my fellow judges Ulf, Magnus and Anders are avid model builders, but also represent many years' judging experience on various modeling contests, incuding international ones. Our commitment is securing that the iModeler prizes are awarded in a knowledgeable and unbiased manner, through a process where every contribution is noted. And because there can only be one winning entry, this task is never easy.
On the subject of the month's statistics, November brought us 106 new articles and 1764 comments.
As per our usual procedure, we are awarding the Best in Show award, but also list all the models that made it to the jury's final shortlist. There's also the Random Award, alloted as a token of appreciation to ALL our contributors.
iModeler Best in Show
It is always that extra bit exciting what an iModeler debut makes it to the winners' stand. Despite the world-beating competition (which is evident in our list of Honorable Mentions below), David Powell's humbly named display of recently completed 1/35 Scale Historical Figures makes it all the way to the Best in Show Award. As one of the commenters put it, David's creations seem to "leap off the screen", and we couldn't agree more. Our Best in Show award for November goes to California!
But wait, there's more! - the Random Award
Every month we are also awarding a kit prize as a token of appreciation to all our contributors, selected through an entirely random draw among the entries of the month. This distinction goes to Michael Booth for his own photo report from IPMS Telford 2014. Than you for making iModeler such an interesting photo resource.

Couldn't agree more with the judges' decision(s). As Al said, all well-deserved. And a big thumbs-up to Martin and his staff for continuing to make iModeler the number one modeling site.
Thank you! I really didn't expect that. It's a great warm welcome to the community.
