Airfix 1/48 Hawker Fury.
Hi all, hope you like. Sorry for the average pics. 1931 RAF Fury. I'm getting into inter war biplanes. Some lovely colourful types coming up soon, once I can find them on ebay etc. Lol. And again... The shot is upside down, and I can't fix it. Time for aerobatics..,,:)
Can help a bit with the rotated picture. Just curious, is this the case of uploading the images from iPad/iPhone? Or else, curious to learn which camera and computer device(s) you were using.
Hello, yes. It's from an ipad. All photos are from the same section, yet one or two are inverted at times. Only with the ipad.
Thanks for this info, its valuable
Nicely built Paul, Airfix have upped their game in recent years.
Thank you. I agree, Airfix is on the way up. Great to see.
I like this, Paul, in spite of your image issues (which no doubt Martin will help with). I can't think of a single inter-War aircraft that isn't appealing as a model, RAF that is, and I look forward to more in this style. I know these aircraft look more like WWI leftovers than anything 'modern', and were comically under-powered and under-armed, but that's part of the appeal: scrappy and don't know when to quit.
Thank you. Yeah, they are all great looking, very exciting to be looking at sine of the subjects available.
That prop appears [strangely] out-of-scale...optical illusion? Nice paint job, btw.
Not sure... It does seem large, but so do the ones in pics. Still... I'm not sure they got it right.
beautiful work, Paul! I especially like the propeller, it looks really good! i finished one of these this past january, i will have to post pictures of it soon! Yours looks magnificent!
🙂
Thanks so much. 🙂
Love the Fury!. And it looks better in camo if you ask me. DID YOU KNOW these things had 3 credited kills in WW2? IIRC all Italian tri-motor types, including one in kenya, when 2 South African pilots sunning themselves got aloft in their shorts only and bought one down. Great model, got to get to mine.
I didn't know that. That's very cool. Poor ol Italians. Lol.
There's plenty more cool here

scroll down to biplane fighters but it's all excellent stuff.
Thank you so much. Will do. 🙂
Great Fury! As Craig mentioned - the blades look out of scale on your pics, however the wood pattern on them is impressive. Very nice paint job.
Thank you. 🙂
Paul,
I would have commented on this sooner but I threw my back out looking at the photos. Aside from that, I love it. I think the Fury is a great looking airplane and I like it in camo. I like how you painted the prop.
Lol. Thanks mate. I know a good chiropractor if you need him. 🙂
A very nice Fury, Paul. Its always good to see older kits, especially in this quality !
It certainly has a charm all of its own, nice job, Paul.
