My last work, the F-86E in Yugoslav colors. Markings are home made with decal paper + painting masks

  1. I really like jets from this period, Zoran, especially when they are finished in slightly unusual colour schemes as this one is. You've done an excellent job with the markings, they help to set off the classic lines of this aircraft.

    I'd love to learn more about your experiences with self made decals.
    It's not the first time that I think about scanning Tamiya decals and print them out again on reasonably thin carrier film.

    • Home made decals from decal paper mast have a white background.
      In my case for roundels & flag I first painted white circles with masks. The masks are made with Oracal masking foil with cutter than I apply decals printed with laser color printer. The decal paper I find in Micro Mark on line shop. All preparations are made in Corel.
