April 24, 2016 · in Aviation · · 25 · 4.1K

These are the final photos of my . Actually I'm an armor guy and it's been a long time at least 25 years since I tackled with an aircraft. I really liked 's first 1:48 kit, the company has a promising future. The fit was very good, some panel lines was very soft but all around it was a good kit. Hope you enjoy looking it!

  1. Wow - a great entry for a "non-aircraft" modeler! Looks like you've got the weathering down pretty well from your days on armor.

  2. If this is an example of Tanmodel's first foray into 48th scale aircraft, I shall be curious to see what other kits they have to offer in the future. Perhaps some other not-so-often seen builds. This one came out beautifully, and I agree with Greg's opinion(s) in regard to your weathering/detailing skills - well done.

  3. MAGNIFICENT! I like the way you weathered this Thunderflash. The RF 84 F saw service with a number of NATO countries. This kit is a must have for me. Thanks for posting this one. Hope to see more of your models soon.

  4. Excellent build, great job on the camera bays.

  5. Wow, now that is fantastic!

  6. Terrific finish on this, I'd be interested to know what extra work you've done on this kit, surely this is not "out of the box"?

  7. Impressive build !

  8. Cemal, you've created a really visceral-looking model. It has an interesting mix of detailing and finish that's somehow 'personal' - very nice.

  9. Your build is just terrific. First class weathering indicates a lazy ground crew! Seriously, a great job on a kit I'm not familiar with.

  10. Hello Cemal,
    Stunning model.

  11. How the h*ll did I miss this one ?
Superb model, just superb and the re-issued and modified version of this kit has just come-out. I will definitely be building one of these very soon.

    Ian.

  12. This kit is my pojects, maybe after the F-84F. Congrats for weathering !
