1/48 Hobby Boss P-61B
After a year of sitting on the shelf of doom the P-61 is finally done. Finished with Tamiya paints, weathered with flory wash and finish with Alclad matt coat. Decals was from Kits World . Enjoy 🙂
Cheers Brian

that came out looking pretty cool! how would you rate this kit compared to the old Monogram one? Either way, nice results!

As a teenager I build Monogram for those times top kit.
Now put in the stash GWH 1/48 and it is waiting for the realization of.
Hobby Boss kit would never buy a little music for a lot of money.
Nice build.

I have to agree with Roberto Brian. Black is so hard to capture. Really great job. I love the cockpit photo.

Well done, like how you got the black to look blotchy on the top surfaces. Not so easy to do on a black scheme. I have the classic Monogram kit, was going to get a Great Wall kit, but seeing yours maybe the Hobby Boss kit looks pretty good. I was to build two of them down the road. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely a thumb’s up on the black paintwork, and very neat canopy framing as well, as Chuck said above, thanks for sharing.
