1/48 Monogram Heinkel He-111H
This was on my bucket list for years. I decided to built this Heinkel 111 when I saw the detailed gatefold profile on Kagero s “He -111 part 2” book years ago.
This is Heinkel He-111H of 1./KG53 Legion Condor in winter of 1942/43. The scheme is RLM 70/71/65 with white removable paint on upper surfaces.
This is built OOB except for Quickboost exhausts . Decals are a combination from differents sets.
Painted with Gunze acrylics
Happy modelling

Works for me; would love to see it in a snow-covered setting to show how effective the camo was in practical terms.
Nice sized kit, too.

Yet another fine example of the quality builds we’ve come to expect from your work bench, sir. Very nice job indeed.

Great build! This kit is on my wishlist too but need a more bigger cabinet first 🙂

Tolga, beautifully done! Love the scheme.

Nice work, as usual. I particularly like the winter camo, which looks very realistic.
The Monogram kit is a bit of a mish-mash of the P and the early H models. The props are not right for any He-111 past the H-2. For those interested, Bill Koster has a correction set with the proper props and better guns, which allow you to make the kit into any He-111H variant.

🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
Very attractive and eye catching work Tolga. I am of the same thought as Rob. I understand it would be somewhat of not the usual size, but it will do it justice. You have a nice model there, I am glad too have seen it, thanks for sharing the pictures.

Another great build Tolga! Love the winter scheme – breaks up the sometimes monotonous splinter pattern nicely.

Tolga, great clean build, beautifully done paint and markings. I don’t see these built very often, so it is particularly welcome. Iconic Luftwaffe aircraft.
