Merry Christmas! My year in review and SCi Fi Shenanigans!
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and all that to my model building friends! I actually completed 4 models this year, well in fairness I built most of the C-2 in 2015 and just finished it this year. Then there is my current build the Flying Sub, great kit, but one thing anyone going in to a Sci Fi kit needs to know most require lots and lots of clean up. I have had to sand virtually every part so far! Painting of the interior is almost done than I can assemble every thing. Looks like it will be the first one done of 2017

Backatcha, Rob…by the way, how does one display a Flying Submarine? 🙂

Great selection, Rob. Well done. Happy holidays!

Thanks guys, yeah the FS-1 is a dilemma for display. I am leaning towards a ship type display rather than flying. Lots of guys use the stand that comes in the kit, but it just seems too top heavy for my comfort level!

My wife sent me the CB tree when I was on Det in Bahrain over Christmas one year. I had it in my room, and put my presents under it.

Rob I like the idea of leaving out a beer for Santa. I thought he’d be more interested in drinking a Stout. Don’t forget the chocolate chip cookies and carrots for Mrs Claus and the Reindeer.
I can’t say enough on how I like your Grumman. That’s one sick model.

Merry Christmas Rob. I really like the M-109, your Tamiya F4U and Mustang out of the pictures on this posting. Rumor has it that Santa likes Guiness extra stout, St. Pauly Girl and Sam Adams……. just saying. Rudolph can drive him home.

Ahh Santa tells me he likes smaller breweries, though Guiness REAL Guiness does make him smile. Hard to find the real stuff in the states though!

Merry Christmas to you and yours as well! Nice contribution to the hobby this year! Hopefully you found many pleasant hours of “stress relief” while sniffing various chemical compounds and using tools most folks wouldn’t appreciate!

Thanks guys, and yes Greg it has been a relaxing year, after fighting the C-2 kit from July of 15 until this year the Tamiya kits were gloriously easy!
